Project Requests

Claromentis uses permissions to provide a range of approaches to adding a project accorsding to the control requirements of the various programmes.

If the user has permissions assigned to be able to directly create projects on a prgramme then they will be able to see an add project icon and create the relevant information.

This is the simplest of mechanisms, ideal for programmes to encourage open collaboration but unsuited for more substantial projects.

Users that do not have acces to create a project directly need to use the PRoject Request Form.

This is a totally customisable PRocess Manager Project which selects from availabel programmes and allows the user to request that a project is created.

The form and approval workflows are totally customisable, normal information would be links to the Project Initiation Document in the document management system, and metadata such as likely timelines and costs, business benefits and any other relevant information to help programme managers decide if teh project request should be approved.

The workflow is totally customisable - but normally allows Programme managers to see additional fields, make decisions and then either reject the request or approve it and create the project.

The form fully supports notification and permissioned based review of requests to keep users informed of their request status.
